Welcome – Bienvenue... to the site of Jeremy Josephs, an English freelance journalist and writer living in Montpellier, France. Writing about what, you might well ask...

...is the answer. I am an established writer and journalist with some half a dozen books tucked under my belt. But during the course of the last few years I have turned my keyboard steadily to writing almost exclusively about France. Click here to read my articles. 

It was the obvious thing to do, n’est ce pas? With a client list including British Airways, Saga and the Daily Mail, I have interviewed many of the top people in French industry, written about luxury products such as Chanel, Cartier and Louis Vuitton. In addition to preparing photo-essays on subjects as diverse as the nougat of Montélimar - right through to the weird and wonderful Postman’s Palace in the department of the Drôme. From the latest political development concerning Nicolas Sarkozy - to the problems relating to France’s cumbersome system of sécurité sociale my self-imposed brief is simplicity itself....
